A 16-year-old male has been detained by police as the second suspect in the
robbery and flare gun shooting at St Joseph’s Academy. He will be questioned and
could be charged later this week.
This detention comes on the heels of a 17-year-old being charged with Robbery

incident. Their names cannot be revealed as they are minors. Police allege they
were the two males seen on the school’s surveillance camera robbing an employee

The 17-year-old who was charged on Saturday evening has also been indicted for
Robbery in connection with two previous incidents on April 11 in Villa and May

Meanwhile, the police are in search of Dexter Scotland of Willikies who is wanted
in connection with the shooting last week Sunday, of another Willikies resident.
Scotland is alleged to be involved in the shooting incident that left another villager
hospitalized, with multiple gunshot wounds.
The police have described Scotland as armed and dangerous and have advised the
public to avoid making any contact with the suspect.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call the 911 Emergency
