Audit Begins of Government Buildings
Monday 25th February, 2019-The Ministry of Works today embarked on an audit of all buildings owned or occupied by the Government of Antigua & Barbuda.
The audit will be completed in two weeks and is part of the Ministry’s new proactive work plan for 2019.
Permanent Secretary Clarence E. Pilgrim speaks of what the assessment will entail.
Mr. Pilgrim describes the audit as an important step particularly since the Ministry is in the process of developing a maintenance schedule.
The permanent secretary is encouraging all Heads of Departments to inform the Works Department of any necessary repairs needed, or any other problems associated with the use of their buildings.
