Antigua Hosts Regional Rastafarian Conference
Tuesday 4th December, 2018-Rastafarians from across the region are arriving in Antigua for a conference.
The Rastafari Community of Antigua/Barbuda, heralding the historic declarations by Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, lauding the ongoing construction of a Nyabinghi Tabernacle at Ras Freeman and the Nyabinghi Theocracy School at Big Creek, will host the regional Rastafari community in a Gathering/Conference in from Thursday 6th December to Monday 10th December 2018.
The Conference/Gathering will be held at the Nurses Hostel at the old Holberton Hospital and delegates are expected from Barbados, Martinique, Trinidad, St.Vincent, St.Lucia, St.Kitts/Nevis, Dominica, Jamaica, while fraternal salutations have also been sent from Ethiopia, South Africa and Ghana.
Reasonings and deliberations will focus on the building of the Rastafari Nation, Rastafari and Cannabis and Reparations/Repatriation and the general public is invited to attend.
The conference will conclude with reports and declarations, before a press conference is held.
