The Antigua and Barbuda cadets who completed a tour of the United Kingdom,

have returned to the country.

The UK High Commission’s Office in St. John’s, which organized the trip,

reported that Cadet Lance Corporal Dante Browne and Cadet Corporal Daena Bird

and their chaperone Regimental Sergeant Major (WO2) Vaughn Charles returned

to Antigua and Barbuda last week, following their successful exchange tour in the

United Kingdom, which was hosted by the Cumbria Army Cadet Force.

The British High Commission said it is grateful to Chief of Defense Staff –

Colonel Telbert Benjamin, Commandant ABDF Cadets – Major Samuel

Roberts, Former Commandant ABDF Cadets – Major Alando Michael and their

support team for not only hosting the Cumbria Army Cadet Force in October of

2022, but for their continued show of support for the exchange programme as well.

The High Commission also commended the Commandant Cumbria Army Cadet

Force, Colonel Guy Harnby, and his team for hospitably hosting Cadet Bird and

Browne and Regimental Sergeant Major Charles during their visit to the United

Kingdom.

The High Commission said it continues to salute both cadets for making a

significant impression during their visit.
