On Monday, April 7, 2025, at approximately 2:30 pm, a coordinated effort between the Royal Police Force and Customs Enforcement led to the seizure of a barrel containing seventeen (17) vacuum-sealed packages of the controlled drug cannabis.

A female resident of York’s was subsequently taken into police custody for questioning in connection with the incident. The packages weighed five and a half (5½) pounds, and have a street value of $44,000.
