Albert Wade Remains Prison Superintendent
Friday 6th April, 2018 – Even with a promotion to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Albert Wade will remain as Superintendent of Her Majesty’s Prison.
Wade, whose promotion was announced on Thursday following the suspension of Commissioner of Police Wendell Robinson, has been running the affairs of the country’s lone penal institution for several years.
Asked whether a new superintendent will be appointed, Information Minister Melford Nicholas said Deputy Commissioner Wade will function in both capacities.
Wade met with government officials on Thursday and reported that inmates attached to the Hapi programme are pleased that they can lend their skills to refurbishing and in some cases constructing homes for the indigent.
Which is best: the AirfFoss, best rated water picks , or old-fashioned manual flossing? There are not enough studies to establish an effectiveness comparison
It was agreed that inmates who give of their time and energies to the program will begin to be paid. The monies would be saved and given to them after they would have served their time.
