AGHS stay perfect in school’s netball league

The Antigua Girls High School (AGHS) kept their unbeaten run intact when the Cool & Smooth Inter-Schools Netball League resumed on Monday.

AGHS overcame All Saints Secondary 15 – 9 in one of three 16 and Under Division games at the YMCA Sports Complex.

Joy Shaw sank 14 of 24 attempts for AGHS while Kinisha James scored 5 of 6 shots and Shakorah Prince converted 4 of 6 tries for All Saints Secondary.

There were wins as well for defending champions, Princess Margaret School and Clare Hall Secondary.

Kadeja Alexander scored 4 of her 15 shots while Jahida Payne sank just 2 of her 10 tries for Princess Margret to prevail 6 – 3 over Irene B. Williams Secondary.

Kadisha Henry converted 3 of 13 attempts for Irene B. Williams.

Clare Hall Secondary claimed a 5 – 3 victory over St. Mary’s Secondary School.

Ijahnae Isadore sank 4 of 10 attempts for Clare Hall while Annika Samuel converted 2 of her 6 tries for St. Mary’s Secondary.
