With the exception of a few minor incidents, the festivities proceeded without any major disruptions. This positive result was made possible through the collective efforts of the public, law enforcement, partner agencies, and event organizers, all working together to ensure a secure and enjoyable celebration.

The Police Administration extends sincere appreciation to members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua, Brigadier General Telbert Benjamin, and the dedicated men and women of the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force for their unwavering support throughout the season.

The Administration also wishes to acknowledge the support from the Prime Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne, Sir Steadroy Benjamin, Hon. Daryll Matthew, the Ministry of Creative Industries and Innovation, the Festival Commission, and the entire media fraternity for their invaluable roles in ensuring the smooth flow of information, effective coordination, and the overall success of the season.

Acting Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers stated: “This year’s Carnival once again highlighted the best of our culture, the unity of our people, and the strength of our community partnerships. We are grateful to every citizen, visitor, and stakeholder who demonstrated responsibility and respect for the law, and who heeded the safety guidelines and advisories issued ahead of the festivities. Your cooperation was vital to this successful outcome.”

The Royal Police Force remains committed to working closely with the public and all partners to build on this achievement and to ensure that future national celebrations are equally safe, well-organized, and enjoyable for all.
