ABLP Chairman Says Former PM Failed Rural West
Friday 9th March, 2018 – The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party chairman has criticized former Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer for his failure to improve the constituency he represented during his tenure as head of government.
Speaking at a campaign meeting on Thursday evening, Sports, Trade and Culture Minister Paul ‘Chet’ Greene told supporters as he stomped for his party’s candidate Londell Benjamin, that the United Progressive Party administration failed to meet the needs of residents in the Grays/Green Community. He said it is the Gaston Browne government that is now championing their causes, even though the St. John’s Rural West seat is held by the UPP.
The ABLP chairman is encouraging the residents of Rural West to compare the work the opposition has done in the past and ongoing work by the government and determine which administration is really serious of improving the standards that currently exist.
