Monday, 12th February, 2018 – The mock election held over a three-day period last week has been downplayed by the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party.
Conducted by the Free and Fair Election League, the mock election has been undertaken in the past to as the organizers have described it “test the pulse of the people.”
But government minister and member of the ABLP, the Hon. Melford Nicholas says the unscientific poll is of no interest to the ABLP, as it does not give a true reflection of the mind of the nation.
Nicholas says when such polls are undertaken; measures should be in place to ensure credibility.
