Police are stepping up the investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident at Grays Farm that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old Taheem Jackson of Grays Farm.
Reports are that ‘persons of interest’ are presently assisting the police with their investigation.
The alleged incident occurred around 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 29 on Christian Street when an assailant or assailants approached Jackson and shot him multiple times. The victim was pronounced dead, shortly after arriving at the hospital. Police officers were on the scene late Saturday night conducting further investigations.
He is the nation’s fifth homicide victim for the year.
