Hundreds of children gathered at the Lion’s Den last week for the annual Christmas party hosted and organized by the Social Protection Board.

More than three hundred children attended the event that has become a fixture in the calendar of the government social agency. The children were presented with toys as part of an afternoon of fun that included the bounce castle, a visit from Santa Claus, music and refreshment.

“The children look forward to this event each year as they can expect toys and a lot of other goodies at our Christmas party. This is all made possible by the sponsors who support our event each year. Without these sponsors we would not have been able to pull this event off. Our biggest sponsors include Sunny Ltd., Royalton Hotel, and Signs and Impressions. We wish to express heartfelt thank you to these companies as well as all the others who contributed,” Coordinator of the Social Protection Board, Mary Baltimore stated.

Baltimore expressed much appreciation for the staff of the SPB who go the extra mile to ensure the success of the event. “Thanks very much for your unwavering support over the past twelve months,” she declared.
