Foreign Affairs Minister, E.P. Chet Greene, is leading the Antigua and Barbuda delegation at the 4th CELAC-EU Summit of Heads of State and Government from November 9 to 10, 2025 in Santa Marta, Colombia.
The 4th CELAC-EU Summit Forum builds upon the previous CELAC-EU Summit held in 2023, where both Regions agreed to further enhance cooperation in areas of global governance, climate change, trade and investment.
The Summit will seek to strengthen longstanding partnerships between CELAC and the EU in areas of economic, social and cultural development. Priority areas of discussion will be the promotion of peace and security; defense of multilateralism; transition of green and digital technology; and increased trade and investment between both regions.
The summit will be co-chaired by the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, in his current role as CELAC pro tempore president.
The delegation of Antigua and Barbuda also includes Kurt M. Williams, Deputy National Coordinator of CELAC.
