The police have launched an investigation into a series of fights that broke out among a group of students at the Antigua and Barbuda Institute of Continuing Education (ABICE) on Wednesday morning.
Reports indicate that around 11:30 a.m., officers on mobile patrol responded to several altercations involving students.
During the disturbance, two students sustained stab wounds and were transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre by emergency medical personnel for treatment.
Several other persons were also taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The Police Administration is appealing to students to exercise restraint and seek non-violent methods of resolving conflicts.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda remains committed to ensuring the safety of all educational institutions across the nation.
