Top-flight entertainment in store for this weekend’s PiAngo Festival

Some of Antigua and Barbuda’s top entertainers are booked to appear on stage this Sunday at the annual PiAngo Festival taking place at Cades Bay, in the south of Antigua.

The Ministry of Agriculture, which has organized the event, has announced that the popular Burning Flames band, currently celebrating their 40th anniversary, will headline the list of entertainers. Others include the entertainer known as ‘the Soca Diva’, Claudette Peters as well as female calypsonians, Empress and Tammy. The Kaut On Band is also slated to appear on stage during the festival.

There will also be special entertainment for children such as bounce castle, face-painting, inflatable slides, candy-machines, bubble machines and inflatable games.

The festival will feature the best of the country’s agricultural sector to include those involved in agro-processing producing a wide variety of products including jams, sauces, wines, preservatives etc.

As part of the excitement, the ministry will also host a competition among the agro-processors to determine the ‘Best Agro-Processor’ where the winner will receive special prizes. Additionally, there will also be a competition among the producers of pepper sauce. The ministry s promoting PiAngo Fest 2025, as “The Juiciest Event of the Summer!”
