Wayne Charles remanded in prison on attempted murder charge

The preliminary hearing on an attempted murder charge against Wayne Charles of Browne’s Avenue opened in the magistrate’s court on Tuesday.

Charles is facing charge of attempted murder of Kadeem Spencer of Liberta. This followed an incident that happened in New Village, Liberta on July 3.

Charles is also facing a charge of malicious damage for causing damage to an I-phone 13 smart-phone that belonged to Spencer. The damage to the phone has been estimated at a cost of $1,000.00 (US).

The case has been adjourned until October 1, 2025, and Charles has been remanded to HM Prison until the hearing resumes.
