One of the key prerequisites that must take place before the field-work aspect of the National Population and Housing Census; the training of field workers, is now underway.
That’s according to the National Bureau of Statistics, which has announced through the Census Office, that training for the 2025 Population and Housing Census has officially commenced.
Training will run from July 7th to the 18th. This marks a significant milestone in the preparation for the execution of the Census.
“All selected Census workers are advised to check their email inboxes for important training schedules, instructions, and updates. Attendance at these training sessions are mandatory to ensure the successful and accurate collection of census data across the nation.
“We encourage anyone who has applied to work on the 2025 Census and has not yet received an email to contact the Census Office immediately for assistance or clarification,” a media release from the Census Office stated.

“Your participation is vital to ensuring a complete and accurate count of the population. The data collected will inform national planning, policy-making and resource allocation for years to come,” the release noted.
