A Trinidad and Tobago national, who resides at Bendals, has pleaded guilty to the illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

50-year old Sheldon Sambury was arrested and charged last December for the illegal possession of a Smith and Wesson .357 revolver with eight matching rounds of ammunition.

He appeared in the magistrate’s court on Thursday where he pleaded guilty to the charges and he is to return to court on Monday for sentencing.
