Melville Richardson, an outstanding teacher and education administrator, is retiring from the service after 45 years of dedication to the service of education.

The Ministry of Education has announced that Richardson proceeded on pre-retirement leave on Wednesday, 4th June, 2025, after serving as an educator for four and a half decades.

He served 30 years at Princess Margaret School and 15 years at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education.

Richardson also worked with the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) and the Eastern Caribbean Joint Board of Teacher Education in preparing examinations and creating courses.
