In Antigua’s heart, a shift will start,
Where waste once ruled, we’ll play our part.
From schools to streets, change will appear,
A greener path will soon grow clear.
Good Humans 268 will pave the way,
Turning trash to gold each day.
With Sandals Foundation by their side,
They’ll build a hub with island pride.
Two brand-new buildings soon shall rise—
A museum bold before our eyes,
And workshops where all minds may learn,
To help the planet twist and turn.
Eighty-two schools will heed the call,
With recycling bins in every hall.
From Ottos Comp, the spark began,
And soon, all schools will lend a hand.
One million bottles will be saved,
From dumps and lands where they misbehaved.
Caps to Wish Foundation will go,
While cans to Wills Recycling flow.
Plastic waste will find new birth,
In chairs and crafts of lasting worth.
Glass will crush to silken sand,
To help rebuild this treasured land.
A soca anthem soon will play,
At Carnival to light the way.
A Junior Monarch will ignite,
The cause with music bold and bright.
Volunteers will join with cheer,
To sort and clean and make things clear.
Students will plant, reflect, and grow,
And learn to let the climate show.
Persons with disabilities, too,
Will gain new roles and avenues.
Jobs and training they’ll receive,
And in the mission, they’ll believe.
Though trials may rise and roads get rough,
The team will stand both strong and tough.
Aiming next for records vast,
Their work will leave a mark that lasts.
So here’s to dreams not far away,
To action born from words we say.
From bottle caps to grains of sand,
Antigua soon will take a stand.
