Team Antigua and Barbuda Clinches Victory at the 2025 West Indies Fullbore Shooting Championships

Team Antigua and Barbuda has claimed a resounding victory at the 2025 West Indies Fullbore Shooting Championships, held at the Paragon Rifle Range in Barbados from May 17 to 25. Competing in the fiercely contested short-range category (300, 500, and 600 yards), Antigua and Barbuda outperformed defending champions Guyana at every distance to secure the region’s most prestigious title in fullbore rifle shooting.

This historic achievement marks a milestone for Antigua and Barbuda’s fullbore shooting program, with the team demonstrating precision, focus, and unmatched teamwork throughout the competition.

About the Championships

The West Indies Fullbore Shooting Championships is the premier annual rifle shooting competition in the Caribbean. It brings together top marksmen and women from across the region to compete in both short and long-range disciplines. Hosted this year in Barbados, the event drew strong participation and was marked by tough competition and challenging conditions.

This win is a major milestone for Team Antigua and Barbuda and positions them as a rising power in regional fullbore rifle shooting.
