In celebration of 2025 World Table Tennis Day, the Antigua and Barbuda Table Tennis Association (ABTTA) will host a vibrant, all-inclusive community event under the theme “All Ages, All Abilities: The Generations Rally”.

The event is set for the Multipurpose Cultural & Exhibition Centre at Perry Bay in St. John’s on Saturday, June 28, from 1:30 to 5 pm.

It promises to be a lively afternoon of fun, fitness, and fellowship — welcoming players and supporters from across generations and backgrounds.

With the global theme of “Diversity and Inclusion”, ABTTA is proudly promoting the message: “Table Tennis for EveryBODY – Everyone is Welcome at the Table.”

The Rally will include Family Pairings – parent/child and grandparent/child matches; Para & Adaptive Table Tennis – accessible games for differently-abled players; and NCD Wellness Zone – low-impact activities and awareness for persons living with non-communicable diseases.

It will also include Body-Positive Awards & Fun Recognition – celebrating players of all shapes and sizes; “Why I Play” Expression Wall – a creative space for stories and inspiration; and Music, Group Rallies & Surprises – fostering laughter, movement, and community spirit.

Whether you’re 8 or 80, experienced or brand new to the sport, this event is for everyone. Entry is free, and no experience is required.

“The Generations Rally isn’t just about table tennis,” said ABTTA President Charles “Chucky” Bellot.

“It’s about inclusion. It’s about connection. It’s about showing that sport has a place for everyBODY — regardless of age, ability, or background.”

World Table Tennis Day is a global initiative celebrated annually to raise awareness of the social power of sport.

The ABTTA’s event is part of a broader movement recognizing table tennis as a tool for development, inclusion, and joy.
