JCI Antigua names recycle competition winners

The prize giving ceremony for participants of the JCI Antigua recycle and create
competition was held at the Multi-Purpose Cultural Centre on Tuesday.
The competition was held as the organisation’s observance of March 18 as Global
Recycle Day, 2024. The theme for this year's Global Recycling Day
was #RecyclingHeroes, recognising the people, places, and activities that showcase
what an important role recycling plays in contributing to an environmentally stable
planet and a greener future which will benefit all.
Winner: Akiera Colbourne – Pares Primary
1st place – Alina George
2nd place – La’Neiyah Richards

Most creative – School for the Deaf, Eukeem Kirwan
Most creative – Old Road primary school, Alexia Stoute
