Tuesday 24 th October 2023 (St. John’s, Antigua)…………..………
St. John’s, Antigua – The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC), in collaboration
with the Ministry of Education, Sports, and the Creative Industries, is pleased to announce an
important meeting for all registered vendors participating in the 42nd Independence Food
Fair.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide essential information and guidelines to vendors
regarding their participation in the upcoming food fair. It is mandatory for all vendors to
attend this meeting to receive the operational requirements and regulations to ensure a
successful and well-organized event.
Details of the meeting are as follows:
1. Returning Vendors:
Date: Wednesday, October 25, 2023
Time: 5:00 pm
Venue: Multipurpose Cultural Centre, Perry Bay
2. New Vendors:
Date: Friday, October 27, 2023
Time: 5:00 pm
Venue: Multipurpose Cultural Centre, Perry Bay
Vendors should adhere to the following guidelines:
1. All beverages served at the fair must be in plastic or foam cups, as mandated by the
authorities.
2. It is mandatory for all vendors operating grills to possess a certified Fire Extinguisher.
Failure to comply with this requirement will immediately revoke the vendor's license.
We encourage all vendors to prioritize the safety and well-being of attendees and maintain
compliance with these guidelines throughout the event.
