53-year-old is country’s eighth road fatality for 2023

A 53-year-old man – Troy Strunkey of Old Parham Road – is the country’s eighth
road fatality for 2023.
The police reported that Strunkey died on Sunday night following a traffic accident
on the Sydney Walling Highway in the vicinity of the former XPZ premises.
The police reports are that Strunkey was traveling from East to West along Sir
Sydney Walling Highway when he allegedly lost control of his motorcycle and
collided with a utility pole on the Northern side of the road.
He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:56 p.m.
The incident occurred around 10:23 p.m. on Sunday, 15th October.
The police say their investigations into the fatal accident are continuing.
