Ischikelle dominates in the JCI Caribbean Queen show

Miss Antigua and Barbuda Ischikelle Corbin dominated the 2023 JCI Antigua
Caribbean Queen Pageant, on her way to a decisive victory in the pageant held on
Monday night at Carnival City.
From a field of nine contestants representing Caribbean countries from as far north
as Haiti and as far south as St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ms. Antigua and
Barbuda emerged the winner in all five judged categories of the competition.
She was adjudged winner of Best Evening Wear, Best Modelling Skills in Evening
Wear, Best Performing Talent, Swimwear, and Best Interview.
Ischikelle also won the Miss Congeniality title, although this was not a judged
segment.
Miss St Lucia won the prize for the Most True to the Theme, but this segment also
was not judged.
The winners’ row at the end of the night comprised; Miss Antigua and Barbuda –
Ischikelle Corbin as Miss JCI Caribbean Queen 2023. The runners-up were, Miss
Dominica – Adicia Burton who placed second, and Miss St. Vincent and the
Grenadines – Shadyn McClean who placed third.
The JCI Antigua has been running the Caribbean Queen show for some sixty years
and it is a permanent fixture in the Antigua and Barbuda Carnival program.
