Police carrying out an investigation into the discovery of human skeletal remains
found in the Diamond estate area in the eastern section of Antigua.
Not much is known about the identity of the deceased nor the cause of death.
However, the police have indicated that they suspect that the deceased is a male
based on the clothing items found on the scene.
Monday afternoon personnel from the police CSI Unit were on site combing the
scene for potential evidence that would help them solve this mystery. Law
enforcement swiftly secured the area and initiated a thorough investigation.
Just a few weeks ago, human remains were discovered at Mount Joy which is not
far away from Diamond Estate. This could be one of the things that the police
consider during their investigation.
