Dale Willock of Seaview Farm is the country’s latest road fatality. The 47-year-old
died Monday afternoon two days after he was involved in a traffic collision on the
Sir Sydney Walling’s Highway.
Police reports indicate that on Saturday, a driver of a white Honda Fitz motor car,
A67300 was travelling from West to East on Sir Sydney Walling Highway at what
has been reported as a very high speed. It was further reported that he then
proceeded to overtake another vehicle, and in the process collided with the vehicle
driven by Willock.
The impact forced Willock's car off the road to the Southern side, where it came to
a stop. The EMS arrived on the scene and transported both drivers to the Sir Lester
Bird Medical Center. Willock was pronounced dead on Monday at 2:35 pm.
The identity of the other driver or his condition were not immediately available.
The police express condolences to his family.
