The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission (ABFC) has launched a
competition to select a theme for the 42 nd anniversary of Independence
celebrations.
In a media release, the ABFC said it is now accepting entries from members of the
public for its consideration.
“The competition is open to all citizens and residents of Antigua and Barbuda.
Entries must be submitted electronically to pcthwaites@gmail.com, on or before
Friday, 8th September 2023, at 11:59 pm,” the release stated.
The ABFC has also issued a list of all the Independence themes dating back to the
very first one in November 1981.
The email should include the proposed Independence theme, the entrant’s name,
age, address, phone number, and email address.
