300 and Bullets extend unbeaten runs in ABSCA’s T20 competitions

Goody’s Taxi Service and Tours 300 have extended their unbeaten run in the Antigua and Barbuda Softball Cricket Association’s (ABSCA) Men’s T20 Competition.

300 claimed their fourth win in as many games after recording a nine-wicket victory against PMS at the Dredgers playing field in their latest outing.

PMS, who lost for the fourth time in as many games, made 113 for nine in 14.5 overs. D. Roach hit 28, Kenny Benjamin struck 25, and Hughan Tonge scored 16. Justin Periera captured three for 29, Dwayne George picked up one for 12, and Vernel Isadore claimed one for 16.

300 achieved victory by scoring 119 for one in 14.5 overs. Player of the match Richard Dyer slammed an unbeaten 48, Veston Lewis cracked 38, and Molvin James struck 21 not out.

Bryson’s Shipping and Insurance Bullets also maintained their unbeaten run in the ABSCA’s Women’s T20 Competition.

Bullets claimed their third win in as many games with a 31-run victory against Potters Uprising Cricket Team at the Powells playing field.

The Bullets scored 129 for three off 18 overs. Cheryl Williams smashed 68, and Lana Thomas hit 35 not out. Erica Dickson took one for 17, and Gail Jobe claimed one for 30.

In reply, Potters Uprising were restricted to 98 for five off 18 overs. Stacey Telemacque hit 26, Nolia Hodge struck 19, and Maria Abraham made 12 for Potters, who suffered back-to-back losses after winning their opening encounter.

Mouricia Willette picked up two for 13, Cheryl Williams claimed one for 12, and Lana Thomas captured one for 15.
