Police have identified the man stabbed to death Tuesday night as 22 year old Jamal Ryner of Yorks. Reports reaching the police are that he was stabbed in the chest during an altercation with a man from Villa. The incident happened in the vicinity of Rowan Henry Street in St John’s. Family members were inconsolable as Ryner was pronounced dead by a medical doctor shortly before 10 Tuesday night.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene on a bicycle, and is now being sought by law enforcers. Anyone with information which could assist the police’s probe, is being asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913.

This is Antigua and Barbuda’s second murder since the start of 2024.
