Barring any delays the registration portal for the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme should become available by Wednesday this week.
That’s according to Osbert Josiah, Information Technology Manager at Mount St. John’s Medical Centre, who is tasked with its development.
Speaking on state television, Josiah noted already the portal is in place, but minor changes are being made before it is accessible.
Inquiries are being made about when members of the public will be given the opportunity to register and secure a date to be inoculated; since a dashboard issued on Sunday showed 872 people were registered. Mr. Josiah explained a record must be kept of those who received the vaccines.
He said once it begins, registration will be a straightforward process.
The portal will allow registrants to report adverse reactions to the vaccines.
As for the questions, they will be basic, according to the I.T Manager.
