A new minister has been appointed to the Antigua Circuit of the Methodist Church. The Antigua Methodist Church gathered at the Ebenezer Methodist Church in St. John’s on Sunday afternoon for a service to welcome the Reverend Wendell Samuel. Reverend Samuel, a Montserratian with an educational background in theology, made Antigua his home for several years. Before receiving his appointment in Antigua, he served parishioners in Nevis for two years. While in Antigua, Reverend Samuel will be responsible for the Parham, Freemans Village and Gilbert Memorial congregations. During the service, words of welcome were offered by Superintendent of the Methodist Church, Reverend Derek Browne.
