Friday 14th December, 2018- Government has revealed that state owned ABS TV/Radio will have a new home with plans being advanced for the construction of a building to house the media entity.
Portions of the annual profits from the State Insurance Corporation will be utilized to construct the building.
But as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ambassador Lionel ‘Max’ Hurst explains, state media moving from its current location is still some time away.
According to the Cabinet notes, profits from State Insurance will also be used to construct a holding facility for people who the courts remand to prison.
Each project is expected to be allocated two million dollars.
