Citizens are Seeking Help for Diabetes too Late

Wednesday 14th November, 2018-The Medical Director of Mount St. John’s Medical Centre says by the time many citizens and residents seek medical attention for diabetes, doctors are being “impacted by the end results” of the disease.

Dr. Albert Duncan was speaking today at an event held to coincide with World Diabetes Day.

Diabetes is divided into two categories, primary and secondary. As Dr. Duncan explains, patients with Type 2 diabetes are who they tend to mostly.
