Relief Coming for Mount Joy Residents

Friday 9th November, 2018-Two departments of government are to collaborate on arriving at a solution for residents of Mount Joy whose complaints were taken to Cabinet this week by the Parliamentary Representative, the Hon. Michael Browne.

The issue, a supplier of sand and aggregates operating from the Mount Joy community has been allegedly causing much discomfort to residents, who are affected in more ways than one.

According to Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ambassador Lionel ‘Max’ Hurst, the Works Department and Development Control Authority will now work to find a permanent solution to the problems.
