Thursday 13th September, 2018-Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission is reminding the public that persons who have applied for a transfer and have not completed the process , their names will remain on the Register of the former Constituency and would not be placed on the one to which they have applied.
ABEC is encouraging those persons to visit the Headquarters as soon as possible to resolve related matters especially if they desire to vote in the new constituency during the upcoming Referendum.
The deadline for all transferees to complete the process at ABEC’s Headquarters is October 10th.
Persons, who have registered up until April 30th and have not collected their Electoral Identification cards, are being reminded that the cards are ready for collection at the respective Registration Units.
ABEC says persons will need their cards to exercise their franchise in the November 6th Referendum on the Caribbean Court of Justice.
