Accused Robber Turns Himself In

Tuesday 29th May, 2018-More than 24 hours after a wanted bulletin was issued for robbery suspect Junior “Junie” Emanuel, the police is reporting he is now in police custody.

Emanuel of Lovelace Road, Grays Farm was wanted in connection with an alleged armed robbery and an attempted robbery, which took place in St. Johns Sunday evening.

It is alleged that he robbed a Pares Village man at gunpoint of EC$300 on Redcliffe Street, around 9:30pm on Sunday. The man had just exited the automated banking machine at ECAB, when the incident occurred.

It is further alleged that he attempted to rob a female from Grays Farm at her workplace on High Street, around 9:35 pm.

According to the police, Emanuel surrendered himself at the Criminal Investigations Department around 3:10 pm today. He was accompanied by a family member.

Investigations are ongoing into the matters.
