Crime Down In First Four Months of Year

Tuesday 15th May, 2018 –The Royal Police Force is reporting a decline in crimes this year when compared to the same period in 2017.

The statistics were shared when the top brass of the force met with members of the media today.

According to Acting Commissioner of Police Atlee Rodney, the period highlighted is January to April, 2018.

Praedial larceny has increased to 16, up 11 when compared to 2017.

As it relates to traffic accidents, the acting commissioner revealed their records are reflecting an increase of more than 100 more collisions this year, when compared to the same period last year.

Fires have increased this year when compared to the period January to April 2017.
