Thursday 3rd May, 2018- Hours after a fresh appeal was issued for Earsfield James to turn himself into police on Wednesday, the Dominican man surrendered in the early hours of this morning.
According to police, James surrendered at St. John’s Police Station around 1:50 a.m. He was accompanied by family members.
Police issued a wanted bulletin for Earlsfiled James last weekend following the alleged murder of Kemmoy Jeffers of Fort Road.
Jeffers body was discovered last Friday evening close to a house on Fort Road. His neck and left leg were tied.
Two others, Clarence Ira Thomas and Raeleen Whynn were jointly charged this week with murdering 31 year old Jeffers.
They were remanded to prison and will return to court in June.
