At least two private schools will be closed to students on Wednesday, Christ the King High School and St. John’s Catholic Primary.
The Board of Directors of Christ the King in a memo informed parents, guardians and students that there will be no classes on Wednesday 21st March, 2018.
The school said that it made the decision after consultation with the Board, and the memo was issued early to give parents sufficient time to plan for the care of their children on that day.
St. John’s Catholic Primary is often used during General Election as a polling station and for St. John’s Rural East constituency.
Schools will resume operations on Friday, since Thursday will be a public holiday.
