Wednesday 14th March, 2018 – A Magistrate has given the police prosecution more time to put together evidence, adjourning Delano Forbes’ committal hearing.
The murder accused appeared in the All Saints Magistrates’ Court today.
He will return to court on May 30th, when the magistrate will decide if there is enough evidence for him to be tried in the High Court for Murder.
Forbes, who escaped police custody last month and was on the run for several weeks, was capture on Friday evening.
He is charged with the murders of three men in separate incidents.
Dubbed the Vampire Killer, Forbes is accused of slitting the throats of his victims and drinking their blood.
The 23 year-old pleaded not guilty when he appeared in court earlier this week charged with escaping lawful custody.
