Tuesday 13th March, 2018 – Minister of Health and the Environment Molwyn Joseph has spoken of the need for the development of Early Childhood Education in the constituency which he represents.
Speaking on state television this morning, Minister Joseph said educators are underscoring the need for children to be reached at an early age.
He was speaking on the developmental plans he has in store for St. Mary’s North.
Minister Joseph plans to engage the Ministry of Education with the aim of expanding the curriculum to include the well being of children, which he views as important in their growth and development.
The Saint Mary’s North representative says constituency development is priority, adding that in recent times, the village of Jennings has expanded four folds. He noted that government is putting in place the necessary infrastructure to deal with the development.
Minister Joseph also pointed to a situation that has presented itself where several residents of Golden Grove are facing eviction. But he says the government has intervened on behalf of the people.
