Friday 2nd March, 2018 – No disruptions have been reported to flights to Antigua from the United Kingdom and the United States despite two major snow storms being experienced in Europe and North America.
The British Airways office at VC Bird International Airport told our newsroom their flight #2157, which originated from Gatwick Airport, arrived in Antigua on time today and was scheduled to depart on time later in the evening as BA flight 2156.
American Airlines also reported there were no disruptions to their services.
An official reported A.A 978 arrived from JFK at 1:04 pm and departed at 2:07p m.
The BBC is reporting flights and trains have been cancelled and thousands of schools shut as sub-zero conditions continue across the UK.
More than 13,000 customers are without power in the south west of England, south Wales and the Midlands.
More than 4,000 flights have been cancelled across Europe since Tuesday and the disruption is set to continue into Friday.
