Tuesday 20th February, 2018 – Work on the completion of the Learning Resource Centre at Antigua State College will be completed within the next four months.
The project has been stalled for several years after funding from the European Union expired. Now with a grant from the Caribbean Development Fund, work has commenced, with contractors from the National Housing and Urban Renewal Company.
Antigua State College Principal, Hyram Forde, says the re-commencement of work on the facility is welcomed.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne, following a tour of the construction site said work on the facility began with the ABLP administration several years ago, but obstacles prevented its completion.
