Wednesday 7th August, 2018 – The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has strongly condemned the recent vandalism at All Saints Secondary School.
Sometime Tuesday evening into Wednesday, unknown person/s used black paint to graffiti the administrative, library and industrial arts blocks at the government secondary school.
This is the second time in less than a month that vandals have entered the school’s compound and caused damage. In early January, the perpetrators wrote threatening messages with spray paint on parts of the building, with some being directed to the school’s principal.
Commenting on the latest incident, Director of Education, Clare Browne, described the act as reprehensible, stating that the ministry is working to ensure the situation is not repeated.
He is appealing to members of the general public to assist in protecting our community assets, by keeping a watchful eye on these important institutions of learning.
Reports of increased vandalism at public schools across the island continue to mount.
