Whether you walk away with a title or not, the experience itself is a victory, and the lessons you learn will stay with you for life. Following last year’s experience, ECAB is pleased to be on board once again.

Minister of State in the Ministry of Creative Industries Senator Shenella Govia, delivered remarks on behalf of Minister Daryll Matthew, who is currently away on official government business. She stated:

“The Ministry is pleased to once again partner with ECAB and the Mr. & Miss Teenage Committee for what has become a premier youth-centered event on the national Carnival calendar. We commend ECAB not only for their sponsorship yet again but for their belief in the potential of our young people.

“Let us be clear—Carnival is a major cultural and economic undertaking. It is costly, resource-intensive, and requires the backing of committed stakeholders. So when we have institutions like ECAB who continue to show up, year after year. Fulfilling their corporate social responsibility.

“To the delegates, I salute your courage. You have chosen a path that requires discipline, vulnerability, and excellence. To the parents and schools—thank you for walking alongside them. Together, we are shaping a generation that will preserve and transform our national identity.”

Also speaking at the launch were reigning titleholders Gabrielle Hamlet and Mandela Anyandjuh, who both delivered heartfelt testimonies about the power of the pageant experience. From rigorous training sessions to lasting friendships, they described their journeys as life-changing and said they would do it all again without hesitation.

The 2025 ECAB Mr. & Miss Teenage Pageant will be staged at Carnival City on Friday, July 19th at 8:00 PM. Tickets are priced at just $20.00, offering the public a chance to witness the future of culture, leadership, and artistic expression in Antigua and Barbuda.
