A total of 12 pounds of cannabis were seized during a drug operation at the
General Post Office on Monday, 2nd October.
The Police and Customs Officers discovered 12 packages of the controlled
substance inside three separate boxes, during a search. The items were taken to the
Police headquarters for further investigation. The substance is estimated at
$72,000.
This is the latest of such seizures of cannabis or other banned substances that the
police acting in collaboration with the Customs Division and the General Post
Office have intercepted in recent months.
